Store setup and theme customisation
Plan, domain, markets, taxes, policies, navigation and a well-chosen theme adapted to your brand. The fastest sensible route to a store that looks considered and sells from day one.
Shopify development · India
Built for Indian checkout, shipping and GST
Kredosys, a Shopify development studio in Udaipur, builds Shopify stores for Indian brands: setup, theme customisation or a custom theme, catalogue and collections, Indian payment gateways, COD, shipping and GST invoicing, then speed and SEO. You own the store, the theme code and every account. Four of our stores are live today, and one person is accountable from brief to launch.
Kredosys builds Shopify stores for Indian brands from Udaipur and works remotely across India and abroad. You get a store that is configured for how India buys: UPI, cards and netbanking through a local gateway, cash on delivery with sensible limits, courier rates from a shipping aggregator, and GST-compliant invoices. It is designed around your products, fast on mid-range phones and structured so product and collection pages can rank.
One detail shapes every Indian build: Shopify Payments, Shopify's own processor, is not available to stores based in India. Indian stores accept payments through a third-party provider such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU, and Shopify adds a plan-based transaction fee on those orders. We set that up properly from the start, so checkout works and the fees are understood before launch.
Discovery usually begins within two weeks of signing. You pay a fixed price per phase, and the store, domain, theme code and app accounts stay in your name.
What we build
From a first store set up correctly to a custom theme for an established brand, each piece is scoped and priced as a phase.
Plan, domain, markets, taxes, policies, navigation and a well-chosen theme adapted to your brand. The fastest sensible route to a store that looks considered and sells from day one.
A theme designed and coded for your brand in Liquid and Online Store 2.0 sections, so your team can edit pages without a developer while the design stays consistent.
Product data, variants, metafields, filters and collection structure planned around how customers browse, including bulk imports from spreadsheets or an existing store.
An Indian payment gateway for UPI, cards and netbanking, cash on delivery rules, a shipping aggregator for courier rates and tracking, and a GST invoicing app.
Lean apps, compressed images and clean theme code for fast mobile loads, plus titles, structured data, internal links and copy that help product and collection pages rank.
Moves from WooCommerce with products, customers, order history and URL redirects carried across, then ongoing support for updates, new sections, apps and campaigns.

How it works
We map your products, margins, customers, fulfilment and any existing store, then agree the plan, theme route, apps and a fixed price for each phase.
Home, collection and product page designs on real products, while the catalogue, variants, filters and collections are structured and imported.
Theme work, payment gateway, COD rules, shipping aggregator, GST invoicing, analytics and essential apps, all configured and tested with real test orders.
Speed and SEO checks, redirects if migrating, policies and domain connected, then a supervised launch with a walkthrough so your team can run the store.
Post-launch fixes, new sections, seasonal campaigns and app reviews, on a monthly rate or per phase, with no hourly billing.
Cost
There are two costs: Shopify's subscription and the build. Shopify's India pricing page currently lists the Basic plan at ₹1,499 a month and Grow at ₹5,599 a month when billed yearly (₹1,994 and ₹7,447 billed monthly), with Advanced and Plus above that. Because Shopify Payments is unavailable in India, Shopify also charges a third-party transaction fee per order (2% on Basic, 1% on Grow, 0.6% on Advanced), on top of your gateway's own charges. Check the pricing page before you decide, as Shopify revises these figures.
The build is quoted as a fixed price per phase after discovery. What moves it is scope, not hours.
Customising a ready theme costs far less than designing and coding a custom theme. The comparison below shows which route fits which stage of brand.
A few dozen clean products is quick. Hundreds of SKUs, complex variants, metafields or messy spreadsheets need more structuring and import work.
Gateway, COD, shipping aggregator and GST invoicing are standard. ERP, inventory, marketplace or custom app integrations add scope and recurring app subscriptions.
Moving from WooCommerce means mapping products, customers, orders and URLs, and setting redirects so search rankings carry across.
Product copy, collection descriptions and imagery ready to go keep the build lean. Writing or producing them is extra work.

FAQ
No. Shopify's help centre lists the countries where Shopify Payments is available, and India is not among them. Indian stores accept UPI, cards and netbanking through a third-party payment provider such as Razorpay, Cashfree or PayU. Shopify then charges a plan-based transaction fee on those orders, in addition to the gateway's own processing charges.
Yes. Shopify supports cash on delivery as a manual payment method, and Kredosys sets it up with sensible rules such as order value limits, pincode restrictions or a COD fee where appropriate. Many brands pair COD with order confirmation through the shipping aggregator or WhatsApp to reduce returns from unconfirmed orders.
Shopify's India pricing page currently lists the Basic plan at ₹1,499 a month and Grow at ₹5,599 a month when billed yearly, with higher prices for monthly billing and for Advanced and Plus. Add a third-party transaction fee per order, gateway charges and any paid apps. Check shopify.com/in/pricing for current figures before choosing.
It depends on the theme route and catalogue. A customised ready theme with a modest catalogue is far quicker than a custom-designed theme or a migration with hundreds of products. Kredosys gives you a timeline after discovery, which usually begins within two weeks of signing, and prices each phase as a fixed amount.
Yes. Kredosys moves products, variants, images, customers and order history from WooCommerce to Shopify, then maps every old URL to its new address with redirects so search rankings and links carry across. We check the migrated store against the original before switching the domain, so customers and search engines see a clean handover.
Yes. The Shopify account, domain, theme code and app subscriptions are set up in your name and paid by you. Kredosys works as a collaborator on your store, not the owner of it. If you later move to another developer or bring the work in-house, nothing needs to be transferred back from us.
Yes. Kredosys is based in Udaipur, Rajasthan, and builds Shopify stores remotely for brands across India and abroad. Discovery, design reviews and launch happen over video calls and WhatsApp, with shared designs and a staging theme you can preview on your own phone before anything goes live.
Yes. After launch Kredosys handles fixes, theme updates, new sections and landing pages, app reviews, speed checks and seasonal campaign changes. Support runs on a monthly team rate or as fixed-price phases, never hourly billing, so you know the cost before work starts and can scale it up or down.
You will get a straight answer on scope, timeline and price — usually within four hours.
