Excel-to-software migrations
Your workbook rebuilt as a proper web app: a designed database, forms with validation, formulas turned into tested business rules, and historical data imported and reconciled so nothing is retyped.
Custom software · India
for teams that have outgrown Excel
Kredosys is a custom software development company in Udaipur, India that turns spreadsheets, email chains and WhatsApp approvals into web apps your team actually uses: dashboards, MIS reports, admin panels, portals and CRM or ERP integrations. Your data moves across safely, every action is logged, and you own the code and hosting from day one.
When the spreadsheet has become the system. If several people edit the same file, totals need checking before every meeting, approvals happen in WhatsApp and nobody can say who changed a figure, you have a database without the safeguards. A custom web app keeps the familiar workflow but adds one shared record, user roles, validation, an audit trail and reports that build themselves.
Kredosys builds that software for owner-led businesses, operations teams and professional firms across India. We build products we depend on ourselves: Tixibo, our white-label event ticketing SaaS, and Kredosys Leads, the in-house WhatsApp and email CRM our own sales run on. The same discipline goes into client tools: clear data models, careful migrations and nothing you are locked into.
Not every sheet needs software. A list one person maintains is fine in Excel, and we will say so on the first call.
What we build
Each build starts from how work moves through your business today, then removes the copying and chasing.
Your workbook rebuilt as a proper web app: a designed database, forms with validation, formulas turned into tested business rules, and historical data imported and reconciled so nothing is retyped.
Live views of orders, jobs, stock, collections or tickets drawn from one source of truth, so managers stop waiting for someone to update and email a spreadsheet each morning.
Daily, weekly and monthly MIS reports generated from live data, filterable by branch, team or client, with Excel and PDF export for people who still want a file.
Back-office screens to manage records, plus multi-step approvals for purchases, discounts, leave or payouts, with reminders and a clear record of who approved what and when.
Secure logins where clients upload documents, track status and download reports, or where dealers and partners place orders, without seeing anyone else's data.
Custom CRM development, or connections to the ERP, accounting and messaging tools you already pay for through their APIs, so data flows between systems instead of being re-entered.

Our own products carry the same demands as client tools: roles, reliable data and uptime that matters.

How it works
We sit with the people who use the sheet today, map every step, rule and report, and agree what version one must do. Discovery usually begins within two weeks of signing.
We design the database and the main screens, then walk you through them before building, so gaps in roles, approvals or reports surface while changes are still cheap.
You get usable releases every few weeks rather than one big reveal, tested against your real cases, with roles, permissions and audit logging built in from the start.
Historical data is cleaned, imported and reconciled against the original totals. The old sheet and new app run side by side until the numbers match and the team is confident.
Code, database, hosting and documentation are handed over in your name. We stay on for fixes and new features, or your own developers can take it from there.
Cost
It depends on how many workflows, roles, reports and integrations the first version needs, and how messy the existing data is. A single-process tracker is a far smaller job than a system that runs several departments, so we quote after discovery rather than from a rate card.
We quote a fixed price per phase, or a monthly team rate for ongoing work. There is no hourly billing. You know the cost of a phase before it starts, and you can stop after any phase with everything built so far in your hands.
Each distinct process, such as orders, approvals or compliance tracking, needs its own screens, rules and testing. Starting with the most painful one keeps the first phase lean.
Two user types is simple. Branch-level access, maker-checker approvals and client logins that must never see each other's data take more design and testing.
A handful of standard MIS reports costs less than a configurable reporting layer with filters, drill-downs, scheduled emails and exports in several formats.
Connecting to an ERP, accounting software, payment gateway or WhatsApp depends on the quality of each tool's API and documentation. Some are straightforward, others need workarounds.
Clean, consistent sheets import quickly. Years of merged cells, duplicate customers and free-text dates need cleaning rules and reconciliation before anything goes live.
Hosting runs in your own cloud account at your cost. Ongoing support, monitoring and new features are optional and agreed separately from the build.
Why Kredosys
Code, database, domain, hosting and accounts sit in your name from the start. Your code, your hosting: if we part ways, another developer can pick it up.
Tixibo and Kredosys Leads, the CRM our sales run on, are products we operate daily. We know what breaks after launch, not just before it.
Data is reconciled against original totals and the old system keeps running in parallel until you are satisfied. No overnight switch, no lost history.
Himanshu Soni leads strategy, build and scale on every project, so the person who mapped your process is the person answering for the result.
FAQ
Typically internal tools that replace spreadsheets and manual follow-ups: operations dashboards, MIS reports, admin panels, approval workflows, client portals, custom CRMs and integrations with ERP or accounting systems. Kredosys, based in Udaipur, builds these as web apps for businesses across India and abroad, with roles, an audit trail and full code ownership for the client.
Yes, but not with a single click. We study how the sheet is used, design a proper database, rebuild formulas as tested business rules and add user roles. Your historical data is cleaned, imported and reconciled against the original totals, and the old workbook stays as a read-only archive, so nothing is retyped or lost.
We run a parallel period. Data is imported into the new system and checked against the source, then the team keeps the old sheet and new app running side by side until figures match and people are comfortable. Only then does the sheet become read-only. There is no overnight cut-over that risks a month-end close.
Yes. The code, database, domain, hosting and every third-party account are set up in your name from the start. That means you can bring in another developer, move hosting or extend the software yourself at any time. Kredosys does not hold your system or data hostage through licence fees or proprietary platforms.
Usually, yes, if the system offers an API, scheduled exports or a database connection. We check what your ERP, accounting or CRM tool exposes during discovery and design the integration around it, so orders, invoices or customer records flow automatically instead of being copied between systems by hand. Where no API exists, we say so upfront.
Not always. Small practices often manage with practice-management products or a structured shared sheet. Custom software makes sense when a firm tracks many clients across GST, TDS and ROC deadlines with several staff. For example, a tracker could show each client's due dates, assign work, log document requests and give partners a live view of what is pending.
It depends on the number of workflows, roles, reports and integrations. A single-process tool can be usable within a few weeks, while a system covering several departments takes longer and is best delivered in phases. Data cleaning and the parallel run often take as long as the build, so we plan for both from the start.
Sometimes, and we will tell you when. Airtable or AppSheet suit small teams with simple workflows and light automation. Custom software becomes worthwhile when you need detailed permissions, a dependable audit trail, complex rules, client logins or freedom from per-user subscription costs that grow with your team.
You will get a straight answer on scope, timeline and price — usually within four hours.
